For total peace of mind we offer support contracts to provide a year round response to those unexpected hiccups that occasionally occur.
The IDT engineers provide a maximum 4 or 8 hour (our own target is one hour) response with a dedicated help desk with remote dial, to give access to any server or PC.
Support Contracts
The main features of the IDT support contract are:
1) Unlimited help desk support for any client on any ICT issue.
2) Unlimited call outs by our engineers (we currently have 5 engineers).
3) A unique weekly server health and configuration checks from a dedicated engineer. The check is reported by scheduled email and includes anti-virus updates, backup notification, data management and configuration issues.
4) Immediate diagnostic and remote support on all equipment and software.
5) Choice of 4 or 8 hour on site response where needed.
6) Free consultation on any future/current IT strategy and best practice solutions.
7) Free cover for all new equipment acquisitions purchased during the year.
8) Unlimited access to Microsoft Certified System Engineers and Sage consultants.
9) Flexible payment plans so you can pay for support annually, six monthly or quarterly.
Support ‘Payment in Advance
If you do not wish to utilise our full support services we are happy to support your computer network on an adhoc basis.
This service gives you full access to our help desk with remote support on all your equipment.
To use the IDT ‘Payment in Advance’ service requires a payment of a minimum of three hours in advance for support. You will have full access to our help desk and they will be able to help you with most IT issues remotely. There is a minimum 15 minute charge every time you call. If the query cannot be resolved remotely, an engineer will be able to visit you directly and the consultancy can be charged separately at our standard hourly rate.
Pay as You Go network support for small-and medium-sized companies
This is ideal for companies who already have some in house IT skills or have a small network requiring little attention and only needing occasional help.
We are happy to supply a dedicated engineer for any period of time and the consultancy will be charged at the company standard hourly rate.
Project Management
If the situation arises where you need consultancy for an extended period of time (say a week) IDT can supply both MCSE engineers and Sage consultants to work with you throughout the project.
Disaster Recovery
Have you considered the effect on your business if your computer network server was suddenly to fail. Total failure of the server is a rare occurrence but should it happen, the time taken to acquire a new server, re-install the software and rebuild the active directory can take more than a week.
Symantec System Recovery Software has the ability to restore a system in minutes even to a dissimilar server.
IDT will monitor the Disaster Recovery Back Up every week as an additional service to the standard IDT support contract and in the event of server failure will endeavour to provide a replacement server within three hours.
Should you wish to test the Symantec Disaster Recovery software, to check that in the event of a disaster, the company data can be restored to an external server, this can easily be arranged.
